China-Russia Sci-Tech Innovation Cooperation Bears Fruit: ZGCTA Receives Letter of Gratitude from Skolkovo Foundation

Recently, the ZGC Global High-Level Think Tank Alliance (ZGCTA) received a letter of gratitude from Russias Non-commercial Organization Foundation for Development of the Center for Elaboration and Commercialization of New Technologies (Skolkovo Foundation). In the letter, the Russian side highly recognized ZGCTAs participation in Startup Village 2026 upon invitation and its sharing of practical achievements in Chinas artificial intelligence education. It extended sincere gratitude for the cooperative bond forged between the two sides, and expressed a positive vision for deepening long-term cooperation.

Prior to this, at the invitation of the Skolkovo Foundation, Li Junkai, Secretary-General of ZGCTA and Director of the Center for International and Regional Cooperation at the Beijing Academy of Science and Technology (BJAST), attended the Startup Village event online and delivered a keynote speech entitled The Art of 'Placing the Comma' in School AI Education. The speech systematically reviewed the implementation, ethical governance and practical experience of domestic AI education, and provided localized reference solutions for the development of Russias innovation ecosystem, winning unanimous praise from participating Russian experts.

The letter stated that building on the communication channels established during Startup Village 2026, the two sides are expected to advance joint projects and forge long-term partnerships in fields including high-tech R&D, innovation and entrepreneurship cultivation, knowledge transfer and technology commercialization, so as to jointly contribute to the growth of the global innovation ecosystem.

This letter of gratitude from the Russian side represents full recognition of ZGCTAs professional capabilities and international exchange work by Russian innovation institutions, and marks a new height in China-Russia sci-tech think tank cooperation. Going forward, ZGCTA will continue to leverage its strengths as a non-governmental multilateral sci-tech cooperation platform, deepen regular exchanges with Russian innovation institutions represented by the Skolkovo Foundation in areas such as AI governance, commercialization of scientific and technological achievements and industrial project matchmaking to deliver tangible results. It will continue to expand the breadth and depth of China-Russia sci-tech cooperation, and contribute think tank strength to the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for a new era.
